Sisters

In the Priory of Vanves, near the southern ring road of Paris, there is a discreet place, which shelters a community of Benedictine sisters.
Of different ages and origins, French, Vietnamese, Beninese or Madagascan, they have not chosen themselves. They did not decide to live in community, they simply responded to the "call". God manifested Himself in their lives and they made the choice of a full commitment, on the margins of the world.
Through their involvement, their faith, their love and their prayers, they bear witness to the fact that other forms of life are valid and, without expecting anything from us, they exercise a form of vigilance.
Light and joyful, they are in the end women like us.
